IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the A (H1N1) virus, The Montreal Children’s Hospital will be moving the last Mini Med lecture on Tuesday November 10 to the Pepsi Forum, 2313 Ste-Catherine West Street, 4^th floor. The Pepsi Forum is located directly across the street from the hospital.

Please join us for our final lecture by guest speaker Dr. Adrian Dancea whose talk is entitled Tinkering with the heart interventional cardiology for congenital heart diseases in 2009. You will also receive you graduation certificate on Tuesday.

A glimpse into the world of a medical school presented by leading physicians and researchers from The Montreal Children’s Hospital of the MUHC and the McGill Faculty of Medicine.

Mini-Med School is a public science education program designed for anyone; who has ever wondered what it would be like to attend medical school, ever wished they had paid more attention in high school biology classes, or, ever desired a deeper understanding of the scientific topics they hear about every day in the news.

The Montreal Children's Hospital of the MUHC is a special place.

Our doctors, nurses and staff consider themselves part of your extended family and our hospital as your home when your child is not well. We welcome, support and respect each child, teenager and family member who comes through our doors. Parents are our "partners" in care because, by working together, we can provide your child and every child with the medical attention they deserve. It is our responsibility to make sure Quebec children have timely access to treatment in a caring environment. Our goal is not only to provide groundbreaking care but also to develop and recommend measures that will help prevent illness and injury before they happen.
